Is there a possibility to add guest access tokens to a privacy group, e.g. the „Friends“ privacy group? I would like to share posts in a private forum with a few people, who have not signed up for Hubzilla. In private forums by default all posts are sent to the „Friends“ privacy group. My aim is to include the guest access in this mechanism of sending.

Thank you for your answer. Is there any kind of workaround to do this? Is it maybe possible to use the Access Control List Tool to change the default recipient „Friends group“ to any other list of recipients? Or are the private forums set up in a way that this default recipient „Friends group“ is unchangeable?

The channel_default_group can be changed in the UI only by using 'Custom/Expert' permissions currently and that setting is not retained if you go back to the original permission role. This mode isn't recommended for most folks as this allows you to tweak every aspect of the permission system and some settings have unintended and complex privacy side effects. It is there if you require it. Otherwise, the site admin could possibly change it in the database. It is set to the hash id of the desired group (pgrp table).
